Maurizio Di Lauro

Maurizio Di Lauro graduated in architecture in 1999. Before he had studied with A G Fronzoni at the Istituto Statale d’Arte, Monza.He taught as an adjunct professor in “Composizione architettonica e urbana” (Architectural and urban composition) and now he collaborates with the Architectural Design laboratory at the Milan Polytechnic.Since 2007, he has been Project Manager for Mario Bellini Architect(s). He won the competition for the renovation and enlargement of the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan; the second prize for the new Museum of the City of Berlin and for the restructuring of the Ex garage Traversi in Milan; he won the international competition for the new Department of Islamic Art at Louvre in Paris.Since 2013, he has been working on his own, obtaining various awards including the “Città dei Mille” Award, Bergamo. He also won the Rassegna lombarda di Architettura Under 40, New Architecture Proposals.In addition to working as an architect, he works as a designer developing projects for contemporary living.
